The Standard weather Proof Canopy:

The Standard features of AMI weather Proof Canopy:

• AMI-mechanical design department is proud of developing well-proven designs for weatherproof canopies/containers. Computer Aided Design programs for weatherproof containers (CADSP) is developed by AMI engineers to reach the optimum design. According to the customer requests AMI Design department can feed input data to the CADSP system and obtain the design of the required canopy/container.

• canopy structure: Manufactured from press-formed steel sheet

• Air intake and expulsion: The canopy is fitted with air handling inlet and exit attenuator

• Handling: eye bolts, 2 lifting plates or 4 lifting plates according to the power ratings of the gen sets.

• Doors: The wide opening doors allow easy inspection, ensuring easy maintenance and repair, AMI Canopy is supplied by two doors at each side

• Other features:

- Facility for Emergency stop button and external refueling inclusive of fuel cap

- External cable drains.

- Heavy duty galvanized hinges.

- Safety Slam Latch Lock Locker

- Canopy painting includes anti-rust primer and 2 layers of high-quality painting coat.

- Internal light.

- Rain cap over the exhaust silencer pipe to avoid rainwater from entering the silencer.

- Daily maintenance can be done inside the canopy in an easy way.

- External fuel/water filling possibilities.

- The canopy can be assembled and disassembled easily for performing major overhaul & easily for maintenance of radiator and alternator.

The Standard Sound Proof Canopy:

• Canopy structure: Manufactured from press-formed steel sheet

Sound level of the canopy: The sound level of the AMI canopy is measured according to international standards ISO 8528-Part 10. AMI Standard sound proof canopy is designed to obtain: 75dB (A) @ At 7 meters (Free field condition)

Higher attenuation (= Less noise level) can be performed according to customer requirements.

• Air intake and expulsion: The canopy is fitted with air handling inlet and exit attenuator of special designed produced from rock wool material with special design to reduce the sound level.

• Handling: eye bolts, 2 lifting plates or 4 lifting plates according to the power ratings of the gen sets.

• Sound Proofing: formed by sound – absorbing panels consists of rock wool material with a proper thickness with appropriate density, wear and tear standing, cleanable, fire resistant

• AMI having in-house mechanical & electrical design team allows us to produce soundproofing customized canopies to site conditions.

• Followings are sets exported to Russia meeting the challenge of temperature variation between –20C -+35C &sound attenuated 75Db@ 7 meters.

• Sets exported to Saudi Arabia facing a challenge of +C60 & high humidity.
